Who does what
Each show is produced and performed by the venue named on its page, with its product ID, and sold through a booking platform that holds your payment, your confirmation and your cancellation rights. Some of these venues also sell tickets at their own door and on their own websites, at their own prices, and we say so where it matters.
What the commission does not buy
It does not buy the running order. Our declared pick is an acoustic tablao in the middle of the price range, not the most expensive listing here, and the guide sends readers to a music-school session in El Raval that pays us nothing when the budget answer is the right one.
It does not buy a place on the page either. Venues are here because they sell a full professional programme and hold a usable rating; access limits, age limits and photography bans are printed next to the price rather than left out.
Ratings and reviews
Star ratings and review counts are the platform's own numbers, read off the listing on the date shown, not averages we have calculated. Quoted reviews are short excerpts from verified bookings with the reviewer's first name, country and month as published. We do not write, commission or edit them.
Prices
Catalogue prices are the lowest adult ticket visible on the listing when we read it, in US dollars, and several venues were showing a promotional rate below their standard price on the day we checked. Euro figures in the guide text are the venues' own published prices for seats and menus. Whatever is on the platform at checkout is what you pay.
